Notice Board
Upon arrival at The Old Forest, you will find notice boards in the Boathouse near the main entrance displaying current announcements, event schedules, and important community information. An automated presentation cycles through recent updates. Check these boards regularly — they are your best source for what transpires in our lands.

The Old Forest exists through mutual respect and shared devotion to Professor Tolkien’s legendarium. We ask that all communications be:
- Respectful and courteous
- Relevant to The Old Forest or Tolkien-related topics
- Free from spam, harassment, or commercial solicitation
- In keeping with the spirit of community and friendship.
Response Times
We are all volunteers who maintain The Old Forest in our spare time. While we strive to respond promptly:
- In-world IMs: Usually within 24 to 48 hours if we’re offline
- Notecards: Within 2 to 3 days
- Emails: Within 2 to 5 days.
Be patient with us. Every message matters and will receive a thoughtful reply.
